There was a restructure part way through the placement and many people were moved from the role they had applied for. I was hired for a fixed term marketing job and was then removed to be put in a non marketing job. The second half of my placement wasn't very informative, exciting or relevant to my future. They didn't ask placement students where they wanted to go or what they wanted to do; it seemed as if we were placed randomly as many of us would have preferred to swap with eachother. If you're looking to work in one specific role/department, this may not be the company for you.
