Pros

The product works well and once a company or organization starts using Slack they immediately see the benefit. There are a lot of people out there who do no like teams and view Slack as superior.

Cons

Very tough to do a deal with Slack and upsell existing clients. The free version works for a lot of small companies and Teams is essentially free or was free at one point and there are many who would just use that b/c it comes with the MS Office package. The only selling point to upgrade or do a big deal is the security around it and that is not as compelling to spend 250K-500k per year for most of the companies i was working with.

Pros

Best-in-class software to work on, down-to-Earth collaboration, smart people, good diversity.

Cons

Speed has been cranked up at the cost of quality lately. Timelines are regularly changed, it's kind of a go-with-the-flow environment, can mean more work.
