      Pros

      - Coffee machine had multiple brew selections - Cafeteria & gym onsite - Customers and reps were great to work with

      Cons

      - Highly toxic work environment - Very clique-y and political - High school environment existed in Somerset location and probably still does. Some colleagues cared more about socializing than actually doing their jobs - Teams pitted against each other - creating an “us vs them” subculture. - Middle management enabled the petty, toxic culture . -Unrealistic KPI’s and inefficient tools - Nonstop layoffs and restructuring (even pre-pandemic).

      Ability to work from home.

      Cons

      This was the most toxic work environment I have ever been a part of. Unattainable KPIs pit teams/functions against each other so meetings devolve into shouting matches and nothing ever gets accomplished expect increased aggravation and blood pressure. Senior management is a club that looks down on everyone and is so far removed from the ongoing/day to day operations. They expect perfection but are far from it themselves. The never ending string of layoffs and job attrition makes accomplishing your job impossible with the added work you’re forced to pick up with no acknowledgement - the work is just dumped on you with no warning or training. It should be no surprise the office morale is very low and it’s hard, if not impossible to keep good people.

      Amazing Company Leading Transformation of Lighting Industry

      Pros

      I cannot say enough good things about Signify. The organization is going through a major transformation from conventional to tech so if you want change and challenge this is a great place to be. While this is a lean organization with silver lining is lots of opportunity to wear many hats and get different experiences. There is also opportunity to grow and you drive and lead your career. Management does a very good job with communication and keeping employees informed. All ideas are listened to and valued.

      Cons

      The organization has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to best practices and ways of working across the board. Sometimes the communication or retrieval of this information when needed can be cumbersome.
