Pros

Some wonderful colleagues who really care about what they do.

Cons

If you aren't a (Dutch) man over 50, don't expect to have your voice heard. Bullying and incompetence are rampant. Pay for locals is well below market rate (not the case for expats)

Pros

Timely Salary Adequate other stuff to keep you engaged then actual work Ideal for mid and senior career professionals who dont want to update themselves and settle in one work Ideal for women

Cons

1. TCS, Wipro kinda companies.. Cheap labour concept 2. Not a Data Science or analytics company-- business analyst or visualization department. 3. No power in Chennai office... bosses just shake their heads to the tunes of Dutch and English masters in UK and NL 4. Managers are not skillful or relevant to the work being carried. 5. Recuritment is Joke. Anybody can come in and walk out 6. Very gender/tamil centric not just in recruitment but also in promotion, rewards and career growth 7. Not the ideal place for career starters. Some of the MBA's were fired after one year of training. All the ones who started find themselves now where even after 2 years.-- one will not find good mentors 8. Salary structure- on paper salary is huge but take home is very less. 9. More non-tamils have left and more tamils got promoted in the last one year. 10. The image is changing-- not anymore a premium company.. people coming from other IT companies like TCS, Wipro feel at home.. 11. Internal surveys revealed the hapless situation people are in. 12. Four year contract given to each employee.. is the best process to chuck/fire out employees.

Pros

Nothing . This company is not good for skilled resources. They don't value your work & talent. Management play a lot of politics in the name of company policies. They harass you to the extent where you will feel like to die.No work life balance. This company claims to be a global company but pretents to be a local company with less employee with lots of politics.

Cons

Too many.I regret the day I took the decision to join this company .They harassed me a lot in the name of policies. After my resignation my laptop was taken and I was not allowed to take any backup.I did some work/project on data science on my own which they took from my laptop for their own use . On my last working day I was not allowed to take my last 3 months salary slip. They reviewed all my gmail content to see if I have taken any documents from shell. They threatened me not to give my relieving letter and experience letter. This company is good for nothing.Neither good pay nor environment. Please don't go behind all the positive reviews. All those reviews are not of Shell India employee.Shell India is worst. This company is for a person who knows boot licking
