Pros

Collaborative environment with a delivery focus. Invests in development of people; both technical and leadership skill development Competitive remuneration. High level of autonomy and opportunities for progression and international assignments based on personal desire and ambition

Cons

Decline in oil price has impacted the energy in the office; continual reorganisations feel like death by a thousands cuts. Discourse centres around bottom line cost reduction and less about innovation and growth Promotion and opportunities are often dependent on individuals investment in self promotion rather than delivery. Overly competitive environment amongst employees and some significant disparity in salary vs contribution

Pros

Great Managers. They take the time to listen to employees while allowing each employee to make free decisions within their work groups

Cons

No cons to mention. Every company has minor employee issues. But what company doesn't. Nothing I would consider major

Pros

Once hired your recruitment needs to be justified at a pretty high up level, so job security is virtually ensured Lots of opportunities for travel and personal development/training Flexible schedules around deliverables and work from home Compensation is mostly 75% of industry average so I would call it fair

Cons

Large matrix organization; a lot of conflicts and politics to navigate through Low promise of creative juice use as most policies standardized through regional hubs like Houston, Singapore, London or Hague A lot of fear of speaking because of European specifically British undertones; leaders say one thing on your face and behind the doors have a different opinion altogether at times Slow decision making; immense bureaucracy and red tapism
