      One of the best retail employers I have ever worked for- Great Values, Care about Employees, Education focused.

      Pros

      Lots of education, training and opportunities to learn and grow. Love their employees and really strive to ensure great work life balance. This is one of the only retailers I have ever worked for that give so much back to their employees (gratis, training, bonuses, educational opportunities).

      Cons

      Sometimes the company's message and focus changes so frequently it is hard to keep up. Small raises and little room to grow at a store level unless you want to work for corporate or move.

      Pros

      I knew nothing about makeup and when I was hired they told me to play around with colors to see what i liked. once i found what i enjoyed i asked for help and the other employees were more than happy to help me out and educate me of how to apply

      Cons

      They customers are great and can be a lot of fun but SEPHORA over spoils them.

      Pros

      The training is excellent, I met wonderful beauty educators, received a fair salary and gratis. I had a wonderful beauty team with a leader that was fair and consistent. I appreciated Sephora's dedication to learning from is employees but also teaching its employees as well.

      Cons

      The work schedule could be challenging because we were a new store. The costumes that employees must wear could be a bit uncomfortable under the intense hot lights of the store. This however, surely isn't a problem in every store.
