Corporate doesn't know company values.

Pros

Management structure in store is built for success, and focus on education is high.

Cons

Store management is instructed to build an educational and supportive environment, and to focus on the many opportunities employees have for advancement. This environment does not exist beyond the store level however, and regional management will make no effort to prepare or assist you in your advancement. It's unfortunate that the values Sephora claims to represent are clearly not those of its' regional management.

Pros

Great training, lots of product knowledge, the ability to work with people from different backgrounds, and shared leadership responsibilities

Cons

Upper management does not believe in promoting from with in, they make it hard for you to be a student and work, poor benefits, lack off communication from the company to retail stores, back room management where the SM is never on the sales floor, and management is not clear and unsupportive of your growth in the company.
