      Pros

      I knew nothing about makeup and when I was hired they told me to play around with colors to see what i liked. once i found what i enjoyed i asked for help and the other employees were more than happy to help me out and educate me of how to apply

      Cons

      They customers are great and can be a lot of fun but SEPHORA over spoils them.

      Pros

      The culture and the people are what make Sephora a great company to work for, life long business partners are made here. The amount of experience people have is incredible.

      Cons

      Do not pay market value, not even remotely close at the corporate office. Upper management has unrealistic expectations. You do the work of at least 3 people at any given time. The correct people are always overlooked for promotion, and they will promote people who have no experience or a clue on what they are doing.

      Pros

      The training is excellent, I met wonderful beauty educators, received a fair salary and gratis. I had a wonderful beauty team with a leader that was fair and consistent. I appreciated Sephora's dedication to learning from is employees but also teaching its employees as well.

      Cons

      The work schedule could be challenging because we were a new store. The costumes that employees must wear could be a bit uncomfortable under the intense hot lights of the store. This however, surely isn't a problem in every store.
