Pros

None everything was a lie

Cons

no hours management gives hours to the same seasonal girls when they hired on 25 girls. rotating the girls would have been fair. we did all these interviews just be let go after receiving 3 paychecks. The paychecks were only for a bout 3 days at a time. Some girls have barely worked 2 days and dont have any income to fall back on. Sephora Beverly Center has wasted our time. Instead of assuming you could afford to hired 25 girls (which was way more than the previous years), you should have played it smart. Now you look like liars. Not to mention the lack of communication from management to the seasonal employees about hours. We had to hear it being whispered through the store.

Pros

Fun work environment, tons of free products, lots of opportunities to learn. You never DREAD your job!

Cons

Growth. Although Im in a management position, I started off that way. Ive noticed that Sephora definitely plays favorites, and feel like sometimes there are more qualified people that should be taking open positions. Also, if you're in management zero work life balance.

Pros

Free stuff from different brands Monthly bonuses (sometimes) Trainings Employee discount

Cons

Be advised... This company may be up there on the Forbes list but it depends in what store you work at. I worked at this company for years and went through 4 store managers, one that was fired for sexually harassing employees. Salaries are competitive but they cheat people who have worked there for years and have new people come in with higher salaries, that's not fair. They will cut your hours and your days when they don't make budget. Good luck being able to pay your bills on those weeks. But the store managers will make a bonus on your behalf. No benefits unless you are full time and they don't give those out often. Don't walk.. Run in the opposite direction!
