Pros

Great benefits, a few good products to sell, to get pharmaceutical experience, to see how Big Pharma works, to get a paycheck (albeit one on the low end of the pharma company pay spectrum)

Cons

Micromanagement of employees, constant poor corporate decision making resulting in an increasingly unstable company, no clear vision or path for employees (business plan/model changes virtually every quarter), corrupt management, bonus payout reports ridiculously late and often contain conspicuously "funny" math, little opportunity for advancement or growth compared to other companies, abusive managers, poor product pipeline, loss of credibility in the medical community, unethical practices, disregard for employee morale

Pros

Solid company. Great pipe-line. Superb benefits. Solid current products- first or second in class. Very ethical company with generous vacation. Mediocre bonuses, but good sales awards trips. Very committed to patient education and support.

Cons

Ever-changing environment. Most sensitive is territory changes and customer/product changes. Not a huge commitment to solid rep/product/customer continuity. A lot of upper management changes, which lends to different directives on a regular basis. Typical amount of evening computer work, test taking, overnight meetings, etc.

Pros

Good benefits and good portfolio of drugs

Cons

Incompetent management and over-value their pipeline. Unethical behavior is rampant. They tell you that patients come first and all their books regarding behavior say that but don't get fooled. When a negative study comes out they have a huge teleconference and tell all sales reps to not say anything and if asked have Clinical provide information. All the talk about being fair-balanced is justy talk. The most important thing to them is the almighty dollar and everybody knows it. Having codes that say that they will be soooo ethical does not mean that that is how they conduct business. They should be ashamed of themselves about the hypocrisy.
