Pros

Forward looking exec team. Great colleagues. Exciting new products. Lots of learning opportunities.

Cons

Can be a bit siloed at times but nothing I haven’t seen before at similar size organisations.

Pros

Talented, Collaborative Teams: The company has skilled and supportive teams, making day-to-day work rewarding and collaborative. Hybrid Work Flexibility: Previously, the company embraced a flexible, hybrid work culture that treated employees with trust and respect, fostering a positive work-life balance. Experience with Sage Products: Years of experience with Sage products have provided valuable industry knowledge and expertise.

Cons

Shift to Profit-Driven Culture: The focus on shareholder profits has increased, often at the expense of employee wellbeing. Decisions like office closures appear profit-driven, with little regard for employees' needs. Decline in Flexibility and Trust: The company is moving towards stricter monitoring of remote work, which undermines the autonomy and trust that were once integral to its culture. Promotion and Leadership Issues: Career growth often seems based on connections rather than skill, resulting in frustration for employees who have dedicated years of service. Lack of Employee Retention Focus: The company's willingness to replace employees with contractors reflects a "replaceable" mindset, overlooking the long-term value of retaining experienced staff. Disillusionment with Sage Products Post-Exit: After extensive involvement of more than 2 decades with Sage products, current practices have reduced motivation to continue working with Sage products in the future
