Pros

The people are friendly and are very good at keeping each other's spirits up. The company has the potential to reach and then exceed there middle of the road aspirations but it needs to stop the decline in quality of leadership first

Cons

There is a lot of moaning on here about moving back to the office but I think that this us just a cover for all the other things that make up a poor working environment. No desks, car parking, poor amenities, terrible wifi, lifts not working, at least the new offices show that you can polish a turd and call it an ice cream

Pros

Great environment to work in with loads of opportunities and things to get involved with. Newcastle office is a great office to work from and you can feel a 'buzz' when you're there, always has something going on for colleagues to get involved in, network, and learn something new. Colleagues are really friendly and happy to help or teach you something. Sage's benefits really are unmatched when comparing to other companies and the share save scheme is amazing. There is a talent market place internally and it lets you find new opportunities at sage and allows you to pick up short work 'gigs' in different departments if you have the time. This is a great way to network and see how you like a different area of the businesses without having to apply for a new role. The culture is always improving and making Sage a great place to work. Workshops for managers, so many training opportunities and continuous learning. Hybrid working scheme allowing working from home.

Cons

Not much opportunity to travel and meet other team members. It feels like this is saved for higher level colleagues which is a shame, it should be seen as an investment in teams for global teams to meet more regularly instead of a cost that can be cut often. Processes can be lengthy and dated. Pay scale is very mixed, pay is not bad but no one talks about it so can be huge differences in what someone is paid for doing the same role.

Thank you for leaving us your feedback; we are pleased you're having a positive experience at Sage! We have noted your suggestions regarding travel and encourage you to speak to your manager and wider team about these opportunities. We are working on making our business much more streamlined, which will knock down more barriers for colleagues. Thanks for flagging to keep us accountable.
