If you like to be stressed.....

Pros

They have a pension plan through their parent co. SYSCO Corp. A good location right off of 270. Advancement opportunities though they are usually available due to high-turnover and terminations. They higher a lot of recent grads or people with little work experience so it is a good place to start a career.

Cons

Very high stress office environment. Management is so focused on the bottom line that employee morale is an afterthought, if even that. Pay is low compared to other companies in the industry. Long hours due to work loads being to high. Nepotism, favoritism, and an old-girl (at this office) network are rampant. Out-dated business practices. A "we have always done it this way" mentality.

Pros

It pays decent. Normal distribution warehouse enviroment but I have experienced better. Benefits are great. Always get the latest equipment.

Cons

Physical labor that will eventually wear your body down over the years. If you have experience, you will be fine. If you don't, the training won't be enough. The bonus structure is pointless. Everyone has a "look out for my own back" mentallity (including management). A few BIG problems that are caused by a bunch of little problems, that for some reason they won't fix. Each supervisor and manager has a different standard on how to work things. They need to be on the same page so everything in the workplace is done consistently. It use to be strict, but they let a lot of stuff slide.
