      Pros

      Diversity, knowledge sharing, career opportunity, pay (when working oversea), dynamic- you literally can move around the globe, training and development system - to some extent

      Cons

      Culture of long working hour (sometime unnecessarily, most of time because of lack of resources), destroys your work-life balance, and sadly the company sees people as number regardless of the jargon. This was very obvious and felt in the time of downturn

      Unlimited advancement potential once GFE, fast-paced advancement. Excellent benefits and compensation packages. When things are good it is great. Travel is great.

      Cons

      Too much BS. Treat you like child in somewhat controlling manner, as in every little thing must be done the SLB way to the point of hinderance of productivity.
