Pros

SAS Institute takes pride in its supposed employee focus culture. Although this might have been true in the past, the situation has dramatically evolved.

Cons

The company spends a lot of time and efforts to promote its Great Place to Work label. The issue is behind the scene, it is a totally different story. All top executives have been with the company for over a decade and reluctance to bring new blood from outside leads the management team to lack the very basic leadership skills

totally internally oriented.... in business positions, you're asked to spend 75% of your time building value MAps, graphs, .... No sales spirit, no ROI culture.
