      Supportive team but challenging management dynamics

      Friendly team that shows good support from other sales associates and supervisors

      Cons

      My manager pushed difficult customers onto me while I was the only person manning tills or had different duties at the time, this happened frequently and on multiple occasions. Both me and the manager started on the same day and this went on for as long as my contract

      Good training but high sales pressure

      Pros

      -Good app for organising your shifts, you can also pick up extra shifts on the team group chat. -Very good retail training for a first job, you learn luxury customer service and how to promote products in store to customers through product demonstrations and promotions at the front of the store. You get lots of free products from training events, as well as a christmas gift, an onboarding gift, a free ritual bag and a free perfume spray.

      Cons

      Very high sales targets, and a lot of pressure to meet these expectations. Did experience pressure from a manager to go up to customers a lot to try to get them to purchase more in store, even when the customers had declined needing help from me previously.
