Great people; Disconnected leadership

Pros

The devs you work with are some of the most talented people you'll come across. They're genuinely passionate about the games and players. For the most part, Riot's done a good job of building a welcoming culture that's come a long way

Cons

Leadership is completely disconnected from the day-to-day realities. Decisions are made in a vacuum without talking with the people affected by them. A new, contradictory strategy and fresh reorg is invented every 6 months. Career opportunities and collaboration between teams are based on who you know and internal politics

Pros

Riot Games work flow and benefits allow for a great work-life balance. They have a great progress tracking system to help employees assess their performance.

Cons

Working at Riot and predominantly playing Riot produced games, it was sometimes hard to separate work and life.
