Pros

Very talented people work there. The product is awesome. The brand and reputation make you feel a rockstar. Salaries are good and benefits above market.

Cons

If you don't build a feel-good relationship with specific senior managers you will not thrive. Nice people that don't do anything are better evaluated than hard working people rough around the edges. Meritocracy is a myth.

I wanted to love it, but I hated it

Pros

Really nice people. Great campus.

Cons

I wish Riot would stop lying to themselves and each other. What they preach is not how they act. Inexperienced managers and poor L&D around training to be better managers is weak. It's really cliquey and unless you are in the clique you'll hate it. Diversity isn't their thing. Yes many women work there but they are not in management roles and definitely will never have a seat at the table. Poor hiring practices screen for ability to conform than the ability to bring a skill set to the table. Their diversity and inclusion efforts need to improve tremendously.
