Pros

Great place to work. Good benefits + food. WFH.

Cons

Some bureaucracy. Some teams grow too fast and have to walk it back.

Great people, horrible leaders

Pros

The people you actually work with are talented, great at communication and overall is an amazing experience to work side by side. There’s genuine passion for work at Riot although it’s slowly dying with layoffs and just the lack of faith in future projects.

Cons

Leadership will always take the easy way out, bad managers continue working even after many have raised concerns. Nothing changes as they rather fire devs instead of working to better the leadership. Is a constant to see people at the company that everyone knows should have been fired for years and instead you see the talented ones being layed off because it’s easier to replace them. HR is nonexistent.
