Pros

- good technology - good office location (pre covid) - free lunch around once a month - potential for bonus

Cons

- lack of empowerment, all major services are routed through Switzerland all we can basically do are password resets and build new laptops - unrealistic expectations from higher up - not everyone pulls their weight - micro management from higher up - expectation to traipse all over london, even when the weather is bad (pre-covid) - rude staff from all over the company, we aren’t supported by our peers - we are threatened with not being paid if we are sick - forced to do overtime as it’s frowned upon if we don’t want to (pre covid) - no team spirit, everyone just out for themselves - average staff turn over is 3 months, no one stays because of his awful it is - HR aren’t very good - messy office - no organisation of stock room - mice in the office - escalation process doesn’t work, when we aren’t able to get our heads around something we often aren’t helped in resolving the issue

Richemont Response
5y
Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. We are happy you enjoy the annual bonus and the office location. Only one person from our IT team has travelled to a different location since the start of this pandemic. The employee volunteered for this particular task and we provided safe transport to and from our locations within London (including PPE). The safety of our employees is paramount, ensuring the correct government guidance is adhered to at all times. Each travelling tech team takes 5 or more calls per day, not simultaneously. All of which is outlined in our interview process to any candidate prior to joining our team as transparency is key. You are providing your opinions on a number of topics, but to respond to some of your concerns such as ‘Not everyone pulls their weight’ and ‘we aren’t supported by our peers’ - working remotely in a team is about trust, and we understand that perceptions on how busy colleagues are might not always reflect reality. Trust is key in our Richemont UK team and we are proud of the daily efforts of our colleagues. Overtime is on a case by case basis and no overtime has been requested for some time as there has not been a need. As in any business, overtime is sometimes required to achieve deadlines. Furthermore, in response to your comment in regards to ‘being threatened with not being paid if we are sick’, we adhere to a clear and fair Sickness Policy, that applies to all teams in Richemont UK. The policy is available on our Intranet at all times, if you would like to review it. If you are concerned about any aspect, please do not hesitate to contact the HR department.
