Pros

Aggressive strong data based culture. Like P&G 10 years ago but more risky Room to quickly move up You will get a chance to be heard Great business skills

Cons

Actual marketing ability is very very poor People management is horrible, if you are not T400 or T40 expect to be disposable regardless of performance reviews. Cannot be emphasize enough how badly you are treated if you are not top management. No matter what happens you will only get as much consideration as the bottom line, so you get paid poorly and get worked to the max. Big rewards exist only for T400 plus.

Pros

If you like to be challenged in a constantly changing environment, this is a good place to be. Fast-paced with quick decision making. Advancement potential if you have international mobility. Exposure to the workings of leading consumer products company that can enhance your resume.

Cons

Very lean organization, expect to hit the road running with little or no training. Don't expect any work/life balance. Do expect to put in hours when you get home at night and weekends. This is a results-driven company so don't expect to get any sympathy for putting in the time - everyone is in the same boat. You can thrive there if you can handle this downside.

Pros

Training at early stages in your career like right out of MBA school. You get great general managment experience, heavy P&L and analyitical experience.

Cons

Once you've worked at other companies, you realize that Reckitt is an intense environment, you are expected to be married to your job. Working until 9 or 10pm on a regualr basis is normal. Also, unless you are working in the Food division, the brand categories are very boring and not very exciting. There are TV media budgets on most brands, but shooting a AirWick or LYSOL ad is not too exciting.
