Pros

Well-established company with great benefits, work-life balance, and fantastic legacy.

Cons

Sales leadership doesn't understand the NetWitness product (anymore) or how to position it for success in the market. They've squandered their market position and failed to adapt for the future. The operational model required for NW is impractical for any but the largest companies and even they are looking for better ways to streamline their visibility.

Bad Culture - Good Product

Pros

- NetWitness is a good product to work on. - Average benefits.

Cons

- Engineering leadership is useless - always making bad decisions and when it fails, the consequences are borne by the lower rung staff. - Product team is a joke - the final decision maker is an egomaniac. - Promotions are purely political and not merit-based. - Women are not allowed to grow here - boys club only! - The ones being promoted are unqualified and absolutely dangerous to the rest of the organization and fit in with a "watch-your-back" culture.

Pros

Agile Methodology is followed Flexibility in timings

Cons

1)Politics 2)RSA Bangalore is notorious for yearly lay-offs. Firing is not based on performance but strictly based on region. If you are from South India, you are most probably marked for firing . 3) If you are joining RSA Archer Bangalore team, forget being promoted to manager. Every manager in RSA Archer Bangalore would be hand-picked by the RSA Archer Bangalore director himself from his known contacts(whether recruited from within the organization or from outside the organization) -if this is not conflict of interest what is? 4) Managers are changed deliberately just before the yearly TELL DELL survey to escape bad ratings and employees are forced to rate new managers with whom we would have hardly worked for 15 days 5) Interviews are a sham, one could be recruited in spite of carrying fake resume and in spite of the interviewer rejecting the candidate, only because the North Indian manager prefers North Indian candidates 6)Some managers in RSA Archer Bangalore are incapable of listening to engineers and taking decisions at the right time.Yet, these same managers stay at the top of the pecking order only because they are closer to the director.
