      Pros

      -great benefits -there are some really good projects, if you can land one -I have worked with some people who are really fantastic, both personally and professionally. Very smart.

      Cons

      -there is a lot of pressure to work quickly due to someone else's bad planning. -easy to get overloaded with multiple projects -some projects are just soul killing -they have been cutting back on flexibility, like "no standing telecommute days" -I have come across some people who are "dead wood", that is, just not getting fired. -The Golden Handcuffs, meaning the benefits can be too good to leave, even though you want to

      1) Great products 2) good work life balance 3) awesome location (San Diego)

      Cons

      1) Poor pay for industry standards and w.r.t profit the company makes 2) too many managers and less engineers 3) low value to good technical work and more value to just making it work somehow

      Everybody seems to be working long hours putting additional pressure

      Pros

      Excellent Location (if you are working in San Diego), Flexibility to come at whatever time you like (up to 11 AM though), may do work from home

      Cons

      Long working hours, Can not leave early at all (Will be working till very very late), Lot of fire-fighting for meeting up crazy customer release schedules, no rewards for general people who work.
