Pros

The working environment is quite flexible and supportive, but one has to work for far more than the stipulated hours to reach a competitive output level. There is a decent work-life balance but that is only in the context of a broader Indian big-tech employment scenario - the general work-life balance, as compared to even a lower-tier employer from EU, is absolutely pathetic.

Cons

Like any big-tech employer in a developing country, this is a form of neo-colonialism. The work expectation and the work product is as much as the US/EU counterparts but the pay is substantially lesser.

Pros

All the pros are disappearing. Free sodas, free machine coffee, free parking.

Cons

Nothing is for free, those sodas don't come free, you are expected to work 16hrs a day, no overtime paid, and if you are hourly then you have to work for free to achieve all your work/goals but don't report overtime cause you will get denied. The lazy, bullies and crazy MF are the ones who get promoted, so you are overworked and then laid off after all that time you thought you were a team player. Managers are bullies and they apply gaslighting, making you feel always dumb and guilty, life work balance doesn't exists, you don't pay for medical but you get diabetes, sick from stress and the huge workload so medical is not really free, you end up paying for therapy for the gaslighting and for the menthal abuse. Layoffs happen constantly and guess who takes over that workload? Yes, does who stay and who in management eyes are dumb. WFH is long gone so not only you are abused at the office but you spend good 16hrs in the office and then drive back and forth another 2hrs, this is no life and management doesn't care.
