      Great money on busy nights

      Pros

      As a delivery driver with pizza hut, I am paid 7.25 an hour, plus .90 per delivery. When we are busy, each driver gets 2 orders to deliver, and should generally be back in 30 minutes. I make about $10 an hour in tips, depending on the shift. The co-workers are a little shady sometimes, but I have always gotten along with everyone

      I have put an incredible amount of miles on my car. Some customers are rude and irritable. Most managers that I have had seem to barely be able to keep the store together. The co-workers are a little shady sometimes, but I have always gotten along with everyone

      Pros

      The work is generally not complicated, free and discounted food. My location is in a college town, so most of the employees are my age and are easy to get along with.

      Cons

      A promotion or raise is highly unlikely, your managers are allowed to make you stay after a shift, the turnover in my store is very high aka people call out of shifts all of the time and you end up doing all of the work. Also, they underschedule employees so they don't have to pay so many people at once. As a result, busy nights may entail you spending two hours cleaning after close. The tips you receive do not in any way compensate you for the work you do, people are not very friendly to you. You can only ask off work for "legitimate" reasons. I'm only working here because I cannot find another job, I can't wait to leave.

      Pros

      The managers in the individual stores can be really good. Overall it was a generally good experience for what you get out of part time work.

      Cons

      Sometimes not enough hours to get money. Also the tips can be good, but it depends on which area you deliver in.
