      You talk the talk, but you do not walk the walk

      Pros

      I loved my co-workers. Good pay and benefits.

      Cons

      Re-organization. I saw many very talented and dedicated employees laid off in an attempt to save money. Throughout my tenure, we were constantly encouraged to recommend our friends or family for open positions. After seeing a couple rounds of layoffs, I am glad I never did. It would have been horrible to have a close friend or family leave their job to go to Phililps only to be laid off a few months later.

      Had potential but constant dramatic resulted in dysfunction

      Pros

      Environmentally ethical, great products, flexible work atmosphere, long-term strategy and vision in place for success and normal to high compensation.

      Cons

      10+ years of dramatic transformation, inclusive of pushing key components to outsourced/partners resulted in broken down processes, extensive delays in resolution of issues, dysfunction, lack of 'cultural atmosphere' and implementation of work-place-innovation has provoked a lack of in-office attendance to provide enhanced culture and collaboration; but isolation. Difficult to balance given many roles require 'odd' hours to work(early AM, late PM).

      Great 401k match Flexible schedule for non-hourly Many good people Challenging

      Cons

      There are the "chosen" and then the rest Politics drive too many decisions, not good judgement. Expections of company exceeds the rewards. Company boast the best of the best, yet there policies and demands make no sense. It doesn't matter how much you sell an idea, a poor idea is a poor idea.
