      Pros

      Generally good product which dentists like. Lots of marketing support.

      Cons

      Management is a bunch of parrots selected for their ability to to kiss up to senior management. Initiatives change weekly. No reasons given to reps for why they are doing things. Micromanagement by RMs'. basically if they dont' micromanage they can't really justifiy their existance at the company.

      Pros

      I work in Philips Healthcare. Management is fairly competent and always sharing information with employees. Employee growth is valued here, and bi-weekly one-on-one meetings with managers are very much encouraged. Promotions are merit based - although the salary is not that high comparing to other companies. Overall very happy.

      Cons

      Depending on your manager, you may or may not get the career advancement opportunities you desire.

      Pros

      There are some amazing people here. The focus on team work is great. Interesting work. There is some satisfaction in working in the medical device field and feeling that your work contributes to the health and welfare of others.

      Cons

      No direction. Worst management I've ever encountered. Stingy with resources including not funding changes that their own Six Sigma program suggests. Very rule-bound with little flexibility available to managers at all levels. Poor salary compensation. Heavy workload with insufficient support and poor scheduling which results in bottlenecks with some poor slob staring red-eyed into failure. An exhausting place to work. Most of the employees are demoralized and miserable.
