      The work is interesting and challenging but the workload is excessive and the environment stressful.

      Pros

      The work at Philips is very chalenging and provides the opportunity for personal satisfaction. Much can be learned from reviewing and correcting legacy code used in current and past products. Philips has an excellent cafeteria and it also provides an excercise center for those interested.

      Cons

      Too much personal time and effort is required to meet milestones set by middle and upper management. The office environment is small with too many hallway meetings, making it often too noisy to think. The environment was not created to promote ingenuity or creative thought. It is also not capable of supporting plant life.
