Leadership experience can vary greatly depending on the manager and office culture. In my experience, there was a heavy focus on metrics and documentation, but less emphasis on coaching, employee development, and constructive communication. At times, feedback felt overly critical rather than supportive, which impacted morale and team dynamics. The workplace culture also occasionally felt overly cliquish, with favoritism and interpersonal dynamics that resembled a high school environment rather than a collaborative professional setting. Saw a lot of snitching. Work-life balance can also be challenging due to pressure surrounding quotas and performance expectations.
