Pros

Best thing about working here is definitely the free food. If you enjoy working with others, this is also a good job for you

Cons

Although they promise that it is easy to move up, it is not entirely true. The standards here are extremely high. In some cases, appearances has a play in promotions as well. It doesn't matter that you can do your job well, if you don't look the part then you will not be considered for promotions. You are over worked and always under a lot of stress.

Pros

I really enjoy working at Panda Express, the company as a whole have very high standards and the restaurant is not very fast-food like at all. We prep vegetables daily like other high-end restaurants and our chefs cook everything genuinely fresh. The bosses really want to see you succeed and will help you excel in the company at a surprisingly fast pace.

Cons

Like every job the bosses attitudes do vary from manager to manager, some managers are a lot more laid back while others are very strict. This is to be expected with every job however if you want to excel faster than your manager wants you to (mainly due to pay raise balances, i.e: if you excel to fast they have to raise your pay faster and a lot of managers don't want to give you more than a 25 cent raise at a time) then you basically are wasting your time if you are interested in "competing" for raises. In the end the company put their money before their employees and screw employees out of a money-effort compromise. Bottom line: Just because you go above and beyond for your manager doesn't mean they are going to pay you your worth.
