Pros

Good pay in comparison to most fast food restaurants, free lunch, easy to move up if you're a good employee and let your manager know of your interest, tuition assistance for managers regardless of major

Cons

Constantly managers from other stores/upper management coming in and changing the rules. One tells you to do X, then another comes in and yells at you for doing X. The hours can be intense (double shifts 2 days in a row). No work/life balance for managers (one of the main reason why I left. I want to move up in a company but didn't like how Panda treats its managers). Your GM and ACO and make or break your experience. It entirely depends on your area. I started with a great GM and ACO, then transferred to another state with a different ACO and it was HORRIBLE. Lacks consistent training for hourly and salary employees.

Great pay, lots of work

Pros

Great pay Easy to get a raise, just show you do good work Cool coworkers Friendly higher management

Cons

Busy during lunch and dinner rush Doesn't care about how many hours or days you mentioned at the interview. They'll get you to work more. Good luck getting days off. People just start not showing up sometimes because they can't get their days off which puts more work load on the rest (no call ins). Getting along with the cooks. Our store's cooks just get pissy when we call a lot of food (unless the GM is in). Donations is the measure if you do good work at the register or not, at least in our store. Donations should be all it is, donations. We need to collect at least $25 by end of shift. And that would be a disappointment. You better work fast and efficient or you're getting hours off your schedule. I often have to clock out then continue doing work because I can't go over 6 or 8 hours because that would be a violation (expect 30 minutes or an hour past the schedule).
