Pros

Free lunch from the menu

Cons

Short breaks and you have to be persistent with asking for them because they will make it very difficult. Long hours and managers don’t delegate responsibilities or ensure that work is spread out evenly amongst workers. You basically have to be your own advocate and be adamant that your worker’s rights are upheld. Also very negative atmosphere from the employees and the grown adults act extremely childish

Pros

- cooperative and nice coworkers, managers help when needed too (at least the one I work at) - Good starting pay, above minimum wage where I am

Cons

1. Night shifts are later than what they are on the schedule. On the schedule, I am scheduled to 11pm. However, a good night (which is often rare) I get out by 11:15. I normally get out anywhere between 11:45pm-12:20am. Just something to keep in mind. If you put 11 on your available work hours it'll be close shift and (again, depending on location and your team) often later than that. Another far more busy nearby Panda I hear used to close consistently at 1-2am (I don't know if it has gotten earlier or not). - As a kitchen help, you have to do a lot of work. Sometimes it is practically a 2 person job. It is hard to stay on top of dishes while cooking all the side items. I have a fair bit of help at the Panda I work at from my team, which makes things a lot easier. If you don't have much help, it is a lot of work and you will often be staying longer if you can't get all the dishes done. Dishes are the primary reason for very late nights/past listed shift time. I am very fast cleaning them, but I don't rush and ensure everything is cleaned thoroughly. For me, they still pile up like crazy. - As a kitchen help, if you are closing and a new kitchen help works the shift before you be prepared for a backlog of dishes when you come in. The new workers aren't lazy, it takes a while to get up to speed on the dishes, let alone manage both the dishes and side items. Be kind to them and give them tips to improve/become faster. Just be aware of this when new people are hired in the same position (Kitchen help). They are learning.

Pros

it's a decent job if you're in school or do not have a degree or career YET!

Cons

Discrimination; Defamation both slander and libel; the job is really for people of Hispanic or Asian heritages. Everyone else will be treated poorly and used. The entire company seems like an undercover anchor job. Whites or blacks cannot prosper with this company.
