Pros

The technology is extraordinary, and our customers know that. The customer success reps and the presales team are professionals and do everything in their power to retain customers. The products being added are logical extensions of how our customers work.

Cons

Product development has to be run by a bunch of toddlers. Listening to their inaccurate ideas of how long a sales cycle takes explains why the company is constantly “pivoting” on its go to market without finding its footing or making a dent in their market. You’re up against solutions that have been the industry standard for decades- understand how the enterprises you are selling to make a change and how painful it is- this takes more than a few months- more like a few years! The marketing and lead gen is a joke- how an entire team of 9 people can fail this terribly when far smaller organizations with 2 person marketing teams can generate more interest is a case study of what not to do. Everyone takes any criticism personally- and anyone pointing out problems is smacked down hard. The culture has become keep your head down and don’t rock the boat. This results in a complete lack of accountability. There has been a huge amount of turnover- mainly because frustration is high and no one takes accountability for any of the missteps. In NA alone, there’s been a departure of 1 person per month for the last 3 years.

Lucky to be an Employee at Panaya

Pros

The company compensates its employees well and Managers are actually concerned with their employees capabilities to balance work and home. Employee well being is on the Agenda and high in priority (frequency of special occasion activities and presents is overwhelming) and Management is doing its best using internal communication to keep all well informed and aligned on the common goal. Employees sharing an interest to move throughout the company are encouraged and assisted and people are actually willing to help each other on personal as well as on professional level.

Cons

Nothing I would see as negative.
