The working environment is quite friendly, and you have flexibility to schedule you work as long as things are done in time and with quality.

Cons

The pay and benefit are around average in the industry. Sometimes the communications between USA and Japan take time and affect schedules.

Interesting, challenging work where you are fairly autonomous in how you do things. benefits travel lots of creative employees

Cons

Work/life balance Payscales suck Travel policy sucks Upper management folk are actually quite smart technically (from my foxhole anyway), but seem to have no care for how they run things. High workload You must be a fire fighter, no planning or guidence from above. All hell bereaks loose when a new system is introduced (amazing, seeing as we introduce new stuff a lot) No global process or training The company is insanely focused on not increasing headcount above a bare minimum

Panasonic has some good policies but if your direct manager does not abide by them what good are they.

They have a lot of good polices in place for employees. Easy to move within other departments.

Cons

Little vacation time. Understaffed. Hire agencies with poor performing staff because they don't want to spend the $ on interactive. You do get what you pay for. Co-workers and colleagues back stabbing.
