Pros
I would say the biggest pro is the culture of this company, or at least what I have experienced after the spin-off. Positive culture goes a long because it motivates and deter employees from leaving, which is reflected by an extremely low turnover rate. Senior leaders walk the talk on work-life balance, and there are even at times, unexpected defenses against working on holidays, taking night calls, etc. reassuring that you do not work on the expense of your family time and well-being. Till 2023, return to office is still flexible because this organization was spun-off during the pandemic which created enough confidence within senior management that the company can still operate and prosper without people returning to office or travelling for the smallest reason. Work can be challenging which builds up your personal development, but majority of the people are helpful and good collaborators which make things easier.
Cons
Work can be overwhelming (if you do not take challenges as a way of improving / progressing one/your-self) because as a spin-off there are work created from dis-synergy, building new things and innovating new ways of working. The dual-edge sword of a positive culture is it leads to employees staying around longer which means progression may take longer to come.
