      Career stability, job security, exciting changes and annoncements continually. There constantly new challenges being thrown at me and this make ssure I am kept on my toes within my specific industry. It helps within my industry to have this change as with many years experience ti could easily become boring,

      It is a coporate so all the internal policies and regulatations can be very frustrating.

      Pros

      It looks good on your resume. Its a great place to learn about enterprise software. One should join Oracle for 1 or 2 years, learn a lot, meet people and then move on fast. It does provide a good work life balance but you need to be careful and not get cocooned. Lots of opportunities to move within the company can help you transform your job.

      Cons

      Oracle has a top down management style. All the ideation and strategy is driven by top management. It is very hard to get recognized at this big company. Some managers are nice while others are outright disrespectful and mean. Its a mix.
