      Pros

      Fast growing company in an extremely agressive business environment makes Oracle a challenging and adventurous place to work. Be prepared for daily challenges as the information technology industry grows and Oracle wants to be the leader of the pack.

      Cons

      Oracle grew too fast and too much without properly back office process. It is a struggle to get simple things done. Too much of self access company. Be prepared for daily challenges as the information technology industry grows and Oracle wants to be the leader of the pack. The agressivenes of the owner get into some upper management who basically do not care about people and only care about results

      Large company with many many areas of work, businesses, competencies etc

      Cons

      Oracle has perfectly nurtured the "if i am quiet and just do my job, nobody will notice me culture. There are too many people who have been employed for years and years, and produce little if any benefit to the company. Buzzword generation, and new "campaigns" seem to be rife, and the teams that generate these things are ever expanding

      Pros

      Oracle provides ample opportunities for advancement. However at Oracle it is essential to understand that you are on your own! You must create your own opportunities and networks. Oracle rewards those employees that are aggressive and that set out to be leaders.

      Cons

      Oracle does not go out of its way to make employees feel 'fuzzy' . All business all the time. Not necessarily a downside but it could be for some. The best reason to work for Oracle (see above) could also be a downside for some.
