      Pros

      Strong financials - continuously making money, many opportunities to work with various products, markets, industries.

      Cons

      Oracle has grown through many acquisitions and has not kept it's internal systems up to industry standards. There are too many systems and it is difficult to get answers to the simplest questions. Company needs to better leverage its own software. Salaries are stagnant, except for top execs, of course.

      Pros

      Large company with lots of options to transition to other departments/teams. Great benefits and flexible working hours.

      Cons

      Due to the size of the company, there are many layers of management which vary from team to team resulting in slow turn around of new functionality for the products being managed. Promotion process is a challenge, and salary increases are virtually non-existent.
