      Pros

      - smart and very savvy senior leadership team - best tech CEO in the world - you get to work with a bunch of very sharp software engineers - with all the recent companies aquired by Oracle there are tons of opportunities to work with a very broad range of technologies

      Cons

      - poor middle management - demanding work hours - poor benefits package - few vacation days - compensation package is fair or below average for similar type companies

      its a well known company. other than that there is nothing good going for it.

      Cons

      too many to list. incompetent management & bureaucratic & extremely inefficient. you will be lucky if you get paid your commissions due. the compensation plans come out late in the mean time you are not pai dyour commissions, the systems do not talk to each other. people development is not a priority. communications to staff is poor, no transparency in what they do. no work life balance. ppl still work & stay contactable even when on leave or sick. management does not embrace change. pursuit of excellence is non existent

      Pros

      Good Pay. Lots of technology to play with. Massive Potential if not for the politics, back stabbing, laziness, looting, mediocrity, and institutionalized banality that gets in the way.

      Cons

      institutionalized laziness, lack of vision or innovation. Oracle is rife with managers and few leaders. When leadership or vision emerges it is beaten down, mowed over, ignored, shunned and obsoleted. Oracle is full of sad broken people putting in their time.
