Pros

Oracle is a solid employer offering competitive compensation packages. It's also big enough that you can find the right work-life balance somewhere in the company, but it may take some time to find it. Collaboration is critical to success because of the large number of people involved with every decision. But, its worth is demonstrated in the quality of the products we produce.

Cons

Oracle is big, and it keeps getting bigger. Standing out and getting your voice heard is a big challenge. Competition is everywhere and employees are very territorial, so focus on teamwork rather than individual contributions. Also, you may end up working here even if you go elsewhere due to constant acquisition-based growth.

Pros

Great projects that really challenge you intellectually. Great flexibility that allows you to work in a place, time, and environment that really suits you.

Cons

The size of the team and/or company is too big to maintain overall big picture of what the company is trying to do.
