      Solid Pharmaceutical Company to begin career with.

      Pros

      Overall, I have experienced great management personally. The company and the position has provided me a great work life balance. They have also provided tuition reimbursement so that I could pursue a graduate education. The sales training was thorough and continues to improve with new sales models. The compensation has been fair in terms of salary, though bonuses have declined over the last several years.

      Cons

      The company does not provide enough pathways for development. It was heavily focused on FLM development but does not provide enough alternatives for other areas or opportunities to do rotations. Though I have personally experienced good management I have seen more than my share of incompetent management in other territories.

      Pros

      Stylish, European organisation. The company pays attention to detail whether it is science, regulatory, PR or employee satisfaction. Social in an American scale.

      Cons

      Lack of uniform standards in operation. One has to learn how to interact with individual departments. Supervisors often create stressful microenvironment and associates have little protection but seeking other jobs. Very male heavy management.
