Pros

The pros of working in NSN is that it is one of the biggest telecom companies in the world to work for. The name has excellent recognition due to the branding of the previously independant companies, Nokia and Siemens Communications. The recent Global Financial Crisis has brought spending to a standstill but they had some positive policies in place such as paid instructor-led training every 6 months, broadband allowance and good on-call support rates. Some of the other benefits include corporate company days where all staff go and spend a night at a resort and have a lot of fun activities. The company encourages work/life balance. Casual dress policy. New Nokia phones every couple of years! Games rooms - billiards, table soccer, table tennis. It's hard to generalise about a global company as the experience will differ from country to country and even manager to manager.

Cons

It's a new company so its hard to say whether the cons are with the company or with the economy. The cons at the moment are that all spending is strictly monitored.
