Great company with not-so-great people

The company trust's it's employees. A wonderful thing, except that many take advantage of this. Awesome benefits - medical, leased car, mobile phone bills, broadband, new phones every 2 years, laptops etc. Bangalore R&D is not treated as a software backend "sweat-shop".

Cons

Trust is misused by many - it's common to find senior managers with no competence comfortably building fiefdoms in Nokia. Too many re-organization's; with every re-org a common theme is that the good people get laid off, and the idiots manage to find jobs. No job security beyond 6 months.

Work life balance is good. Carrier opportunity is good. Good working environment. Equal opportunity provider. Management is open for suggestions.

Cons

Company financial situation is on growth track but still a lot need to be achevied for a sustained business, this some time create havoc in the employees.
