Pros

great place to start career after graduating tons of useful telco knowledge available to learn and master good and fun atmosphere as 90% of employees are aged 25-30yrs possibility of business trips

Cons

low cost location - Poland - low salaries comparing to Western Europe almost no real chances of advancement as an engineer no real salary increase over years of work and experience employees are aged 25-30yrs ? (everybody leaves after 4-5 years or even sooner) totally bored and disgusted with constant low cost policy constant organisation changes some people and departments doesn't really feel responisble for product final quality which causes other depts to suffer horrible IT, working here on 4 years laptop is normal, wasting so much time due to crappy and old hardware, seems like spending 1000$ for an up to date laptop is not worth even though if it could speed up working by 40% and cause less employee frustration

Pros

The company had excellent benefits and generous time off policy. Encouraged employees to come up with better ways to do things. Nice to have your boss actually listen to and implement your ideas.

Cons

Moved most manufacturing out of the United States. Unless you are willing to travel to Mexico or China, not many job opportunities left in Texas.

Pros

- Good salary and benefits - Highly technical work - Limited constraints on getting work done - ability to do what's right and needed - Work / life balance affected by customer issues (cyclical), not bad management - no complaints - Very diverse group - in most meetings no one person is from the same country

Cons

- "yes men". We give our customers everything they ask for, then wonder why the bottom line is in the red. - Similar to above, we probably provide the most hand-holding support to a customer of any vendor. This is a cause of high employee stress. - Many internal groups simply ignore work, even their own. If you own the response/solution, it's up to you to find another avenue to get it. No accountability for people or entire teams not pulling their weight. - ATT buyout of TMO US, rumors of Nokia and Siemens ending their partnerhsip, and upper management departures are causing concerns about the future.
