      Pros

      I was lucky to have a very good team and a very diverse, international environment while working at Nexans. Big company, with many different locations and opportunities for development. Benefits include flight tickets discounts, free sports and cultural activities, half price lunches at the restaurant on the 1st floor.

      The salary is above market average

      Cons

      Toxic management culture, starting from the CEO who demonstrates very poor leadership, delivering messages based on threats & fear. This behaviour cascades on top managers below, resulting in a unsane work environment. Huge gap between the company's ambition & expectations towards its employees, and the financial/people resources given to achieve these objectives. No clear strategic direction and priorities, resulting in people being frustrated, lost, having the feeling of not growing, and going on burn outs.
