Pros

Collegiate, collaborative team working. There's a real sense of camaraderie and you can feel you're a part of a good thing and contributing in some way to improving patient care

Cons

Poor management. Silo working. sometimes a public sector mentality. Resentment towards consultants and contractors who do the work. Unless you're in a team that works strategically, you can feel it's all pointless.

Pros

Very friendly work colleagues, support each other at work which makes work less stressful. Some of the patients appreciate what you do for them which is very rewarding.

Cons

Pay is very little which makes you less motivated. Change in management and staff makes it unsettling. Rude and demanding patients.
