They have a friendly atmosphere, good training opportunities and generally nice people to work with. Also, the work is diverse and interesting.

Cons

It is sometimes stressful and it really depends on who you are working with whether you have an enjoyable experience or not. For me, my assignment within the department was not what I applied for, but what they needed someone for at the time.
