Pros

The NHS provides a Reasonable salary. Good annual leave benefits. Robust HR policies and guidelines. Good multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

Cons

The NHS supports poor staff behaviours, unreasonable rates of sickness and absence leading to staffing issues for the staff that are conscientious and who give their all.

Pros

ICHNT is a teaching trust, therefore you receive a significant amount of training e.g. clinical meetings, presentations, in-house teaching sessions for band 6 pharmacists as part of the JPB diploma.

Cons

The time constraints and working load (i.e. number of wards to complete) were unrealistic and often felt unsafe.
