Pros

Some places are good to work. Patient interaction rewarding job

Cons

Bullied for taking time of due to pregnancy loss and my return to work was put done as a stress reaction and line manager refused to recognise that this was pregnancy related… stated on sickline that it was pregnancy lose but was ignored. Managers discuss sickness with other staff members. Lack of support in regards to training. Constant staff shortages and incompetent managers with out of date management style.

Pros

Work life balance and flexible hours within reason. Colleagues are usually very pleasant and have good work ethics and work in a team.

Cons

Pay is terrible and the rate in which you get a salary increase is too slow, especially with inflation. They also don't match your pay especially if you've got the experience and previous payslips. Banding hierarchy needs to go, management can be really difficult but depends on who they are.
