Pros

Working with respected experts in specialist fields. Working with colleagues commited to delivering the highest standards if care for everyone. Helping to create and deliver drugs programmes in the communities where there is the greatest need. Facilitating change in the lives of those suffering the many challenges ges of addiction.

Cons

Pressure on services due to cuts and precarious funding. The draconian approach to sick leave from management. Bot enough support for staff to avoid burn out.

Pros

I have worked at NHS GG&C for 5 years and I find the patients are very nice people.

Cons

The managers I work with are childish, incompetent, ignorant people. It appears their main gaol is to sicken and bully the staff as much as possible instead of encouraging them so that the patients receive the best of care. If you dare to disagree with them you are severely punished.

Pros

Non-profit mission means you can at least feel you're doing things for the good of the community

Cons

Toxic staff throughout the whole of the NHS really affect the environment and can make it a miserable place to work
